You have just been employed as the chief editor of a publishing firm. Your company has just published some new books. Among them were the ones you read over the summer. To advertise the novels to the public, you were commissioned by your boss to write a letter reviewing one. In your letter be sure to include specific information from the novel you have chosen. Follow the outline below.
1. Write your address at the top right hand corner in the following order (number and name of street/avenue/boulevard/place; directly below that, the city, state and zip code; two lines directly below the address, write the date).
2. Write the greeting directly at the left hand margin (Begin: Dear/Hi Ms. ____________________,)
3. Para1. Begin directly under the “r” in dear. Include the following
a) Describe the book you have just completed (awesome, magnificent, jaw-dropping, terrific, interesting, delightful, refreshing, thrilling, astonishing, gratifying, intriguing, fascinating, splendid, amazing).
b) Write the title and the author.
c) Rate it out of ten and explain why you give it that rating.
d) Summarize the plot in 4-5 sentences. (Describe the main character/protagonist, the problem he/she had at the beginning, how it worsens, and how it was resolved).

a) Did he/she write in first person, or third person point of view? What effect did it have on you? Did it pull you in and make you experience the actions as they unfold? Did it let you observe from the outside and see how all the characters look, act/behave, feel, think, or hear what they say? Give specific examples from the book to prove that it pulls you in or it makes you the observer.
b) Did the author use a lot of dialogue, strong sensory details/imagery, a lot of figurative language, or a lot of graphic actions? Explain why the author did that. Give specific examples from the book to show those details.
